MANGO HALE AT KALAPAKI BAY

Quite possibly the best deal on Kauai, Mango Hale is a generous, clean, 3-bedroom house with a 4th bedroom/studio option for larger groups. Nestled below a landscaped, sloped berm off the highway, and sheltered by enormous fruit-bearing mango trees, Mango Hale is directly adjacent to shopping, restaurants and a 5 minute walk to one of Kauai's most beautiful beaches, Kalapaki Bay.

There are few accommodations on our mostly rural island that can boast "rental car optional". Mango Hale is most definitely in this category. Walk to Kalapaki Beach Hut for breakfast, enjoy cocktails, dinner and sporting events at JJ's Broiler right across the highway, or peruse the many shops of Anchor Cove and Harbor Shopping Malls--all by foot. A quick drive to the airport and the center of Lihue Town, Mango Hale presents a unique opportunity to be close to everything that Kauai's East shore has to offer for a fraction of what most vacation rentals cost.

Kalapaki Bay enjoys year-round beginner surf swells. A large studio with full bath and sitting area can be rented additionally to accommodate 2 more travelers. Each room is tastefully decorated in authentic Hawaiiana. The home is bright, cheerful, clean and has cable TV, Wireless internet access, a fully appointed kitchen and dining area. Ideal for students, surfers, families and groups, Mango Hale enjoys an epic proximity to one of the most vibrant parts of the Garden Island.

Mango Hale is able to provide such ideal, budget pricing because of its location directly adjacent to Rice Street feeding into Kalapaki Bay and Nawiliwili Harbor. As such, there can be considerable road noise at peak traffic hours to one of the bedrooms and light to moderate road noise to the entire house. A white noise machine is provided for the road-adjacent room.

  • Three (3) days BEFORE check-in, a temporary authorization (but not charged) for $ 500.00. It will not be charged or appear on your statement. The authorization is for incidentals should they occur at time of booking. This will be released Three (3) days AFTER check-out if there are no damages.

PAYMENT - At the time of booking, a credit card number (visa, MC or American Express) is held (but not charged) to reserve your stay. Unless there are cancellations within 60 days of the booking, or incidentals are incurred from your stay, the card is not charged.

Full payment is due ninety (90) days prior to your check-in date. Payment may be made by check, bank transfer (via PayPal), PayPal, or credit card (Visa, Master Card or American Express).

CANCELLATIONS - A sixty (60) day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date will incur no penalty. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within 60 days but before 30 days of the arrival date, forfeit 50% of rental payment. Cancellations made with 30 days of arrival date forfeit the full advance payment.
